You have Bullards Bar where the spotted bass is king for now(State record could come from here in the next few years) and the kokanee are starting to rebound a little...You have Englebright that is good to fair for trout and you have Collins lake that plants very heavy most the year with lots of 3-4 pounders...as far as fishing, you are right smack in the middle of it...

Keep watching the trout board for the annual Collins lake sniffer fest an you can meet a bunch of us learn alot about our area,as miner moe said you are right in the middle of it..The Sniffer fest date for Collins will be up next week,it will be in April though,to take advantage of the trophy plants an no lice...Don AND WELCOME TO THE FISHSNIFFER BOARD

Englebright is not very big, It's a long canyon lake on the yuba river @ Smartsville.
It's tough to fish by shore, most of the catching is done by boat trolling.

Collins Lake from the campground to the dam with the best spots being the beach area and the far side of the dam(Chaparral hill)...You should be able to scratch out a few fish and the Ice cream cones they sell there are awesome...
