any suggestions of good bank fishing lakes where you could park close to the waters edge in an rv and sit under your overhang? thanks for the info!

Collins Lake for sure...possibly Camanche South side.

Forgot all about Collin's overflow camping area. Though some of the water there is very shallow a long way out. and rocky.

Lake McSwain has its campgrounds right at the waters edge and you can also park your car by the waters edge in the brushpile area. It gets stocked heavily so there are plenty of fish to be had.

Pyramid lake, but no bait fishing, so you would have to be casting lures/flies constantly. but you can park your rv as close to the water as you like. AWESOME fish in there too! But if you want to bait fish, then pyramid is a no go!
