Scotty Downrigger

I've had a manual Scotty downrigger since the early 1980's. I've used it on two different boats.
This summer I finally had some problems with it. A couple of plastic parts broke. I went to their website and took pictures of the affected parts and sent it to them.
They replaced the parts for free!
Wonders never cease! I will make my next downrigger a Scotty for sure. I'm thinking of getting an electric model.

Go electric for sure, I use Shuttle Hawks too (easier on the equipment and wire)........Jetspray
