Amador is red hot!!!! The trout were bitting like crazy, we left with nine in 4 hours. We lost 2-3 and a lot of missed hits. The biggest was in the 3# range, but all were nice. The fish were jumping like crazy the whole time we were there. We caught them on P.B., Lures, and the bugers!! Heres a few pics of are catch. Steve

Nice job. How were the crowds today? I wanted to go tomorrow, but my wife and son are sick, and now I am feeling horrible :( There were just a few people that i saw on shore and 5-6 boats, Its to bad you cant make it out tomorrow the fish are realy bitting. Me and my brother will be going back tomorrow for another round. Steve

Nice fish! I'm waiting for the beasts that become more common around Dec/Jan. Last year, we were catching 9lbers into May!:chowtime:

We went today and caught 15 and kept 7 the biggest was 5 1/2 lbs But there were a lot of small ones in the 1 1/2 lb range. But it was still a lot of fun. Steve

^ are you referring just to lake fishing or does the same principle apply to river fishing? i've always been curious about this; seems like i land bigger fish earlier in the season..

I'm just speaking from my past couple years experience at Amador. The first half of the season for me last year was real slow but man from March-May, we hammered the beasts to 9lbs

Thanks for your report. Were you fishing from shore or a boat? Regards.

Doesn't matter, just the mention of that stuff starts crap an it doesn't matter if you put little smilies, funny faces, lol,or whatever,it's always been a problem
