Today was my second outing for crab snareing on the beach. The outcome was better than the opening day for sure. Got to the beach two hours before the top of the High and the water condition was ideal, was able to launch the snare out over the breaker and the first few cast ended up with nothing and i was starting to have doubts about the day. But nevertheless, right at the switch of the tide, thats when thing starts to happen. snared my first dungie about 6 1/2 incher and the second pull was another 6 1/2. until the 7 or 8 pull thats when i landed the Hugh Monster the Grandpa Dungie. Every now and than, many shorts were pull and released. Fantastic Day.:cheerleader:7505750675077508

Awesome job. What beach did you try? We went out and barely scratched out rock crabs. :( PM if you wish in case the beach isn't a place that is readily known already. Thanks.

almost any bait shop sells them.. Danielson makes the most common ones, which are even available at big5/walmart. or you can just make them outta some simple supplies as per the youtube vids. Simple to build and it will give you something to do the day before.
