Generally the weather was beautiful, the fishing poor, the shore crowded and the day was fun. At 0615 when Jetspray and I started fishing the temperature was 20 degrees and by 1000 many were down to tee shirts. The sky was a deep blue and the wind was calm. We managed 2 small fish between us. A guy next to us caught a nice tagged fish but beyond that saw few other fish caught. Arriving at first light was Wondernutz25 who was going to do a little yakking. Next Russ Wickwire arrived with Buddy. Finally Wolfden and Wolfcub1 arrived. As I said there was little catching but a wonderful day to shoot the s**t. ;) Justin it was nice meeting you again. Russ they are there.. honest. ::) Todd and Nick glad to see you guys fishing again. Dave thanks for the ride. We will attack the better spots when the crowds leave.

That is the most crowed I have seen myself. Every area that was accessable had vehicles on it and the lake had a ton o boats on it. Did not see alot of catching being done, but we did have a couple of Nevada DFG officials show up to take a census (Russ knew some personaly due to past work). It did add a certain flair to the morning........Jetspray

Its all relative. 20 is slightly above average for morning temps around here. You dress in layers. With a bright Nevada sun it warms up quick.

If it were 20 degrees over in the valley, I would not have left the car either. It is just a dry cold over here, even next to the shore (unless the wind comes up and blows fog on you). As CC said you just layer up and keep your hands and head covered. I do carry a radiant heater and a 5 gallon bottle of propane for the snowy/cold starts or Pyramid shore/boat though.......Jetspray
