Fished Amador today with my dad and we were rewarded. This was my 2nd trip this season trolling and was expecting a slow morning bite. Arrived at 6:00am and zoomed off to our honey hole. Started putting our grubs out and adjusting the speed of the boat. Within 10 minutes our grubs are getting smacked and its fish on. Was consistent bite all day, ended up calling it at 11:00am with 20 boated, another 5-6 missed and finished the day with both our limits. The average trout seemed big today, all ranged from 3 - 6 lbs 12 ounces. Heres some pics 8-)

Big fish of the day 6 lb 12 ounces on scale

Just curious, what color grubs were you using and how are you rigging them?

WELL?????.....:ts6rp:????:kermit:..HEhe

well we made a short trip from shore yesterday because we had kings tickets for 3pm. The lake wasnt to crowded but it was very slow. Its just to warm out and with no wind the fish are skittish. My girlfriend landed 1 on a crawler under a bobber and I missed 4 on a jig. I only saw 4 landed between everyone out there

My favorite grub colors are firetiger, orange, pearl, black, and green. Firetiger 2 inch with a white power egg was the hot setup this last trip.

Thanks for the info. Hope to get out there soon after finishing up another home "honey do" improvement project.
