View Full Version : Slow shadowcliffs day

banked with powerbait along the eastern shore for only one 12 incher and a few HNS. Got approached by police, was almost cited for no license and daily permit, but since im under 16 I didnt need those items. They wrote down my information because my rod was leaning against a tree , and was not considered a stable rest place and was considered "unattended". Next time its a citation. They asked almost everyone for licenses and permits.
Bassmaster13 was with me also, he had a HUGE strike which we believed to be was a cat, because it was caugh near the eddies/logs, and then went under a log, so he had to cut his line.

Pics to come later tonight.

Sorry to hear it was so slow. Good for trying.

If a tree isn't a "stable resting place" what is? My rod holder isn't as secure as a dang tree. hehe

Lowery, thats probably it. at least he didnt cite me. HNS means hit no stick. I ordered some solid rod holders for banking at bass pro. Lowrey, its been slow, but if you get there early enough( i got there at 6), then you'll catch a few fish. is amador still doing hot?
