At the last minute my friend and I have decided to go fishing. We launched out of Alameda at 1pm and fish the Alameda Rockwall for halibut. My friend got one halibut (16inches - released) in 14ft of water near the wall. I got striped bass (24 inches) in 19 ft of water.
We were drifting frozen anchoives. Wind picked up around 2:30pm and make a rough ride home.
We left in hurry and forgot to take a camera so no pictures.

Very nice. There has been more and more halibut catches. It should start kicking off soon.
