Went out on the water at 10:30pm on the 8th and spent the night. The whole night no luck. Small bites all night. Probably from catfish. Around 8:30am, I was tired and dozing off a little, when I saw a hit on my rod. Swing and fish on, its was an undersize 43in, released and pole back in the water. At about 10:15am my buddy's rod started to pump, but very small pumps. Picked up the rod and felt one more pump. Swing and fish on. This time I felt the weight. It jump out of the water twice. So I gave my buddy back his rod. About 20min later, it ran about 5 times. finally it game to the boat. We knew its an oversize so we measured it and released it. It was 88in. So far an undersize and an oversize, we need a keeper now. At about 11:35am my rod started to pump, again its very small pumps. I pick up the rod and felt another pump, swing and fish on. This one jump out of the water aslo. It had some weight to it. After 15min it came to the boat. It looked like a keeper so we measured it and it was a 65in keeper. My 1st one this year. Bait was ghost shrimp and eel.

I wouldn't make raw laab out of any freshwater fish, just not the same as saltwater. Regardless if they live in saltwater and move into freshwater to spawn, those pesticides learns to hitch hike as well.
