Nice bow! What makes some rainbows so silvery like that? I've noticed browns from big lakes like Tahoe tend to have less color as well.

WOWZA!!! Great looking fish. May I ask a newbie question? Going out for the first time in 15 years July 2, 3, 4, 5 Taking my wife and 11 year old daughter and nothing would be cooler than to catch a beauty like yours.

I'm gonna order 3 6.5" Trophy Sticks (SP's) but my question is, could you please share with me a picture or words on what the set up looks like? Been a shore fisherman for years now and I'm not familiar with what the trolling setup looks like from a tackle stand point.

I would really appreciate the help. Thank you very much

On Trophystick colors, get a Baby bow, Tui Chub , and Silver platter. Silver platter is Better Visibility Deeper for aggressive Macks and letting out 100 feet of 10 pound P Line and then clipping to Down rigger ball lower down and work flat deep areas of 100, 150, and 300 feet. Or you can work shore line 50 to 100 feet and adjust your downrigger Ball depth to follow Bottom contour by stay above bottom at 10 to 20 feet. Pro cure trophy trout jel or Rainbow Jel SOP. Tahoe Toplineing is A Long Line affair in Straight even depth zone of 15 to 25 feet. A 6.5 inch Trophy Stick can go 20 feet with 300 feet out . A Number 18 floater rapala can go 25 feet with 300 feet out. Tahoe Toplineing on Short Runs 150 to 200 feet of line alone out with In and Out Tight Shore Terrain Following involves Very Good Local Under Water Rock Knowledge as we Have Many , Many Boat Killer Hazards and they are Deadly to folks every summer. :yoda1: But, I am tired and need my Nap.......Others Can Show you the Path to Sierra Success !! Many Great Jedi we have Here and they will be Happy to Guide you.......But, Beware the Dark pms.....forever will they Dominate your thoughts and Soul . Clear your mind ... Focus Your Dream and feel the Force flow thru your VEINS !! It will Happen !! Aloha ! gst

Thanks a bunch CT!! Really, really want to go for the browns, but a bit scared of the rocks. Any other advise would be great
