Ran out with DarylB on the Onsiene yesterday, private crabbing at it's best. We got out about the crack of about 11:30, the wind was up just a little bit but quickly settled down and it turned out to be really nice, 4' swell or so at most.

4 of us pulled his 15 or so pots that had been soaking for about a week for a total of about 60 mid to large grades, kept 40 of the best and let the rest go.

Crab feed tonight, tomorrow ....mmm, good.

Daryl Balao by any chance? If so, I replaced him the last few years fishing bass tournaments with the same team partner ... after he turned in all his bass gear and made the complete switch to saltwater. Just curious.

Thanks for the report.

Yep, that's him..

If his saltwater skills are any indication of his former bassing skills then he must have been one heck of a bass fisherman.

He's a killer in salt..

Cool. Yeah, he knows how to rip lip. We still use one of his low tide spots and give him credit every time.
