Charter out of Sausalito. Fished 2 hours and limited the boat. Absolutely insane fishing. Everybody was hooking up. Several 20lb plus fish lost at boat. No seals until the end thank god. Tons of krill, and whales. Very fat fish. Largest I believe was 29#. only a few shakers. I landed 4, Lost a nice one at the boat, and one super tiny shaker that did not trigger the weight release. Gorgeous water, and fat, krill filled fish. I went home with a 16#, and a #14.

To be honest, I do not know. We went north for about 50 minutes, then south for 30-45 mins..... We were next to a buoy that a "W" on it. It seemed as if we were between Pt.Reyes, and the Islands.

Looks like the New Rayann based on the deckhand Brian.

It is mooching or trolling?

Trolling. One guy had a flasher and a giant hoochie or something on it. They probably would have taken anything that morning.

Wow that's pretty insane. I've never been on a charter or party boat. Does everyone individually tag or mark the fish they catch and bring them home in the end or do you guys just pile it up randomly and grab whatever home?

When you check in on the boat, you write your name on a numbered sign-in sheet. When you catch a fish, the deckhand tags that fish with a metal pin with your number on it.

At the end of the trip, the deckhand hands out large plastic bags and then hands out the gutted/gilled salmon by calling out the number on each fish.
