Marinpaul, son Jake and friend, Mariahpup, son Ken and I Fished under the final bridge on the W. Carson catching trout after trout until our arms ached never seeing the bright eastern California sun. Like 6 trolls.

Went up on a an Thursday afternoon scout on the W. Carson with Jetspray. Fished the Hope Valley Honey Hole and the 89 Bridge. We ended up with 2 cutts and 3 bows. I knew that some pals of mine were coming up Friday morning. I decided to join them. Made the long 15 minute drive up 88 and arrived at Woodsfords at 0630 to find Paul and crew all ready there. All 3 standing on a rock out in the river doing considerable damage to the trout population. I set up across the the river and joined the fun. I was joined later by Mariahpup and son Ken. All caught fish. If small plastics and spinners didn't work then a couple of eggs 12 inches below a small splitshot would get them. How many did we catch? The only rational answer I can make is many. All fish except for a couple of floaters were released. Paul, Bill, Ken, Jake and friend. Nice fishing with you guys. Dave thanks for going up on the scout with me. Nothing like a cool bridge on a warm day.

What a great day fishing with my son and my fishing buddies...as always Capt C. was big fun and great to fish with. Marinpual, Jake and his buddy were having a grand time....we caught lots of fish...mostly fun planters with a few nice Alpine fish thrown in...they were released with care to be there for other lucky fishermen..we kept only 4 bleeders which was just right for the grill...
Fishing with my son in the high sierra's was a special treat for Father's day and it was the perfect gift...I shall treasure the memory...
Hope some of you other dad's are lucky enough to have a treasured memory as well...
Luck to All and Happy Father's Day!

Oh Man!

Someone could be on top of the bridge and not have any idea of what was beneath them!
