Has anyone done this? I've been reading a lot on this and it looks interesting. It's just like drifting a salon egg, the beads are high quality and look pretty nice.

Are you talking about this sort of thing? I've seen these for salmon/steelhead fly fishing and figured they'd work for trout with some attractant or something.

I friend of mine turned me on to these. His pick is on the testimonial page. They work great for Steelhead. have not used them for trout. I stick to the real thing for trout.

If I may ask, why beads for steelies and not bows. Or vice versa, I would only drift a bead for rainbows if I were fishing a artificial only area.

What type of beads do you use and how do you rig your bead for steelhead fish? Do you float them or drift them?

No spacific reason. Just the way I've always done it. I drift and float beads. It all depends on location and water conditions.
