    my kids were on the smith for 3 or 4 days last week..they left last sunday night from here..they caught a couple salmon and a couple small steelhead on the smith banking it.. they did well on salmon...

    i don't see any red slit under gills of either... the hen does have similar markings of cuts i have caught but still would like to see the red slits..

    mad is kind of raging right now.. probably muddy witch doesn't really matter for liners.. as they get them in the big and brown puke water.. but if you actually fish watch for the color to turn...

    i personally think ug 15 breaks easier then ug 10 or 12 in fish fighting conditions.. i used to fish ug 15 all the time that and ug 20.. thats all the old timers ever used that i grew up fishing...

    lol i have flossed many salmon with a small bass bullet style weight pointed up stopped by a bb split shot 18 inches from the hook or even a inch long piece of hollow core pencil lead the same...
