    Re: Tough Fishing at Pardee

Yes, Apparently the huge inflow of water and debris caused the log boom to break on three separate occasions. I was there a few weeks ago. Debris fields went on for several hundred yards in some...

    Re: Pardee ---- 4-19-17

I was at Pardee a couple of weeks ago. The log boom up river must have given way. Mucho logs and debris made fishing in the river hit and miss (some stuff you hit and some stuff you missed). Has...

    Re: Best Fishfinder/Gps combo

All things being equal, go with at least a seven inch. When I bought my 14' Gregor in 2007 I bought a Lowrance LMS-522 IGPS. Am still using it today with zero problems. However, my next unit will...

Re: Del Valle today after two years. 2-27-16

Ditto for my experience and several others on this board who keep journals. Over the last several years this fishery has been in decline. I used to have a non resident season pass that was kinda...

Delvalle 1/8/16 Decided to get out between the storms and test out some boat and trailer repairs and wet a line while I was at it. Lake was way down as expected. Launch ramp was very usable with 2...

Can't remember what this one is called. No marks or writing on it. Dot and eye may have been added aftermarket. Thanks

Re: Help with johnson 20 hp

I agree with systematic trouble shooting. And, checking the fuel and the tank would be first on my list. That tank is 44 outdoor, in the cold and wet, ethanol laced, sometimes nasty fuel, years old....

Re: Smart tabs, do they make a difference?

Have had them on my tin Gregor for 6 years and they do make a difference. Specifically, it puts you on plane very quickly and I can run at lower speed and not have the bow above the horizon. Works...

    Increased Koke limits

Any word of F&W increasing the limits at Pardee in 2015 to help bring the Koke population into equilibrium? Appears that Idaho is implementing this strategy. Nate or Robbie ?

    From Rich Landers...

    GW, you are correct. Thanks.
I removed the two bolts on the muffler cover and the flame trap was missing. Popped it in and it fit perfectly. Odd thing is I have never had the muffler cover off...

    Re: Minn Kota PowerDrive V2

You're drawing about 10 amps on full power. Like others have said the gauge of the wire may be the culprit (nice to have a fire extinguisher). In a heavy wind some guys use the main motor to power...

    Re: Camanche night fishing!!

Just got back from Camanche. Lake is less than 50% full. Lots of obstructions and islands adjacent to deeper water will make night boating 'interesting.'

Re: Distance between miller and Garcia?

Stan's is pretty steep, but doable. It gets real exciting in the winter time with a thin layer of ice on the deck.
