Whats wrong with the 4 stroke, that should be just right for a 14 ft aluminum ? A bow mount on a 14ft may not be needed. a good transom mount should do it and be alot more convienent.

You can get a decent older fiberglass runabout cheap.
I would say don't waste your money .
