Same thing out here in Meyers. I wouldn't mind an average year of precipitation after last year. We didn't get a spring our last snow was in mid June and our first was the end of September. So the...

    Re: Pyramid Jigs?

I never have any issues with a blown up air bladder with fish as deep as 60'-65'. Deeper then that is when it becomes an issue and you'll spend most of your time trying to revive the fish or use a...

I have a lot of success with crappie jigs, aero jigs, p-line blazer minnows, bomber slab jigs, and buzz bombs all in 3/4 oz.-4 oz.

Not from him or I. We get them shallow it's easier with lighter jigs which are more fun. We both have decenders but have yet to use them at Pryamid but they get a work out rock fishing in the ocean.

It's a jig bite right now. I just talked to one of my buddies who was there Sunday and yesterday. They landed 50-60 fish a day all on jigs.

There's no dock there at the marina but there were people launching. We were going to do it but my buddy was a little sceptical with his new 22' boat. So we waited in line the first day for 1 1/2...

    Re: pmid 10-01

I just got back from 2 1/2 days there and it was the worst opener for me with only just over 50 fish jigged to the boat for the 3 of us. Biggest was 7 pounds.
On the second day it was slow for the...

At least you saw CHP officers there. They're usually hanging out at the Chevron station in Myers getting free coffee and donuts. They are absolutely useless up here especially in the winter time when...
