    Re: Junction Reservoir

The banks there are very steep, and most of the shoreline is not accessible. The area mentioned above where you can launch a boat is at times very muddy as the water level fluctuates a lot. I have...

    Re: Trolling question

I like the stacker clips like that. I have several with different clips.

I like putting them several feet above the ball, less of a chance of loosing gear. I will see the ball start dragging on...

You might try shore fishing for a bit to check it out right at the shore launch. If they get bored there is always UVR and Icehouse near by.

    Re: Junction Lake

Launching a boat there at least for a larger boat (more than a 12 ft) can be dicey. 4wd is recommended especially if you want to get out... it drops off FAST and it is muddy. as the water level...

    Re: Downrigger: Cable or Braid

I am in the process of switching out to braid, and can make you a hellofa deal on some used cable.
I went on a buddies boat that had braid and really liked the lack of downrigger hum.

    Re: Setup Question

I have caught more than a couple macs 10+ lbs, on a Vance's spiral wrap kokanee rod with 6lb. test.
I don't recommend that, but use what you have before you go and buy something. I catch a lot of...

Re: Ice House or Union Valley Action?

I fished there last Wednesday, and the bite was real good.
Small flashers or a small dodger at 15 ft, speed 1.3 up to 1.6. water temp was 62.
I had a steady bite with multiple doubles. I stopped...

The lake level was rising fast, about 10 ft. in the last week as of Sunday and was 73% full . Water temp was 45 degrees.
