    Re: Cdfw emergency meeting!

Thanks for the update. Appreciate any good news we can get. Also appreciate the disclaimer. More folks should take that approach. This is what I heard, this is what I know, and it will probably...
  2. Re: Need some suggestions for babless set up for landlocked steelhead

I'm with ya, just another one of those tastes great, less filling arguments. The argument is gonna happen ever time the magic word "steelhead" comes up.
  3. Re: Need some suggestions for babless set up for landlocked steelhead

Folks are talking about two different things. Mr. Savina has already had several discussions and threads about steelhead vs. trout and the legal, genetic and other subtleties. Just asking how to...
  4. Re: Need some suggestions for babless set up for landlocked steelhead

Bait fishing trout and catch and release don't go well together in my book. I've got zero problem fishing powerbait for fish straight out of the truck, and folks taking home their limit. I've got...

    Re: Colusa boat launches

No, but I think that ramp was built so they could abandon the State Park ramp because it costs so much to dredge. Looks like a State Parks admin building of some kind. Just a guess.
  9. Re: Is there any North American freshwater fish you haven't caught but wanted to?

    Musky and Gar.......

Something about a big toothy critter in swampy, close quarters environment.

Fished Black Butte reservoir as a kid. The south end of the lake has willows well out into the...

Another helpful, original, articulate and well supported comment. Liberal minions, lip service and Whole Foods + Barbarians, all in one post.

I give it a C+ mostly because you missed...

So I take it, thatís a no?????

So be it. I guess the biggest hardship is I just stop tuning into the Bickersons.

Good luck on policing the world. Have similar inclinations myself. Just one...

Re: Fishing in a Pandemic Update

Mr. Jeeper, can I make a polite request to keep these types of things off this board? Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but this type of thing is inflammatory and inevitably ends up killing...

Thanks for the heads up. Very useful information.
  21. Re: Washing State to close all fishing at midnightg tonight.

Now thatís the kind of take charge mentality that makes this Country great. Get Mrs. Jetspray to video it and post. Thatís a half dayís entertainment easy. Iíd even chip in $20 to the cause.
  22. Re: Washing State to close all fishing at midnightg tonight.

How do you know he wasn't telling the truth?????

I've read multiple crazed conspiracy theories posted on this site today alone. "They" can't all be wrong.

  24. Re: Lake Tahoe Fishing Report ! 3/9/2020 Excellent !

Sorry to hear the news. Although not specific to inspectors and the ramps, there has been a lot of work in Tahoe to curb tourism during the shelter order. While tourist traffic is way, way down,...

Re: Rod/Reel Question for the experts :)

If it's the inshore saltwater model it's a decent rig and should work just fine for most things. The ratings on salt water rods are different than on fresh water rods, which I've never understood,...
