    I've used power pro and other braids...not my thing for constantly casting. Plus I rub on one rock and snap. I see just as much issue with braids as I see with mono it's more of a personal...

    UV or GLOW paint if you want to paint.

    They sell reflective sticker material (pretty much wat the kwikfish is wrapped in) online and in some stores just gotta look for it.

    I'll be there around 6 or so....the last few weekends I went there was ALOT of boat traffic...jet skis, tubers, knee boarders, ect. only a handful of guys fishing.

    The columbia like you said is much deeper than the sac for sure. I started researching that river system when I got into sturgeon fishing. Amazing what feeds into those waters.
