Fishing for Bluegill; landed much larger Bass, priv pond South of Clear Lake

#12 hook, 4# test line and a 1/2 inch long worm. Grandson Josh had caught about 40 bluegill on the trip here. Floured them up and ate them nightly. Bigger fish hit his worm, swam around through the weeds a bit, expected a snapoff. Netted 7 pound largemouth big enough to put your whole fist inside his mouth. Released him to grow more. Bigger than any bass I ever caught.Jbass.jpg
