Hinrid’s Original Carnitas

5 lbs pork butt roast
¼ cup lemon juice
1 tbsp cider vinegar
¼ cup olive oil
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp oregano
1 - 4 oz. can herdez salsa ranchera sauce
1 – 4 oz. can diced Ortega chilies
1 – 4 oz. can tomato sauce

Slice pork into 1 – 2 inch cubes
Marinate in lemon juice, salt & pepper
Brown cubes in large skillet
Place browned cubes and remaining ingredients in crockpot
on high for at least 4 hours.

Serve with corn or flour tortillas, pico de gallo, Spanish rice and lots of cold beer.
