We were around blue lake the opening 8 days. Frankly I think its a nursery, we counted over 250 deer, 20 legal forkies a dozen or so spikes and 1 mature buck, a 3x4 my brother shot. This buck was about 5 miles east of blue lake. All afternoon I saw maybe 10 deer but 5 were mature bucks.

Real nice buck! My uncle shot a small fork around 5 yesterday afternoon and that was the one of a few small spikes and forks we saw. Hunted sheep rock/Pepperdine area for a few days then headed down to blue lake area and that's where we saw a lot of sign but not many bucks. Congrats
