Re: California's largest lake threatened by urban water transfer

Im just hoping that between the drought and fracking it causes that major quake I always heard about growing up that will collapse SoCal into the ocean

Cool Re: California's largest lake threatened by urban water transfer

Let me see, Southern California is draining Mono Lake, The Colorado River, and Northern California. Maybe they could do a bake sale and raise enough funds from all of those liberal Hollywood types and build a pipeline and pump sea water to the lake. They could also hire some of the folks at Homeless Depot to help out.........Jetspray

I would have to agree. I would camp with my family and friends out at Borrego springs somewhat near that area when I lived in SoCal. The last time was probably 15 years ago and this was very much the case at that time as well. Very poor communities, dead fish and a nice ripe smell.

They are just tugging at heartstrings to play water politics. Not that I am happy to see more of the water going to SD though!

California's largest lake threatened by urban water transfer

I didn't know that this used to be the biggest lake entirely within California.
