Great photo essay as usual. True fisher persons don't let a little bad weather stop them. Glad that there is trout in your area. The rain and snow hopefully will mean more trout in mine.

Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish. -- Ovid

    San Pablow!!!! 3-5-16

With this series of storms coming Mike and I decided our best bet for fishing would be a quick trip out this morning. Luckily Mike has vacation this week so he has today off.
Sorry team Anderson wasn't able to join us as we changed the day at the last minute due to the weather. We will plan another trip out soon!
First boat on the lake at 7am. No wind and glassy water. We revisit Scow canyon and our "Spot". I get a taker right away. 15" on white power eggs and a red honey worm. Bleeder so in the box it went.
Thought we had the whole lake to ourselves until a rental boat with a man and woman sputter into our cove and beach opposite of us. They had no cover and just a tiny umbrella. We felt bad for them because that is when the rain and wind made it's debut.
Over the next couple of hours we were surprised to see several boats.
The fishing wasn't red hot but we managed to boat two more. 16 and 12" releasing the smaller. Both on rainbow eggs and a white Honey worm.
We lost three fish today and had a lot of teaser bites once again. They just weren't committed. We left when the wind was really whipping up about 11:30. Did our sushi thing again afterwards. I caught fish. Then I ate fish and then I came home and cleaned fish. Oh and then fed my pet fish! LOL!!!
Now sitting here typing my report listening to some serious water falling from the sky. It's all good!
Next weekend you may see a Mike report as I have a girls weekend shopping in SF! Fun times!
Here are some pics and a short video.

We called these guys "Highly visible orange pants and his Oompa Loompas". Just kidding though.

Sandy point with nobody there is very odd!

    Til next time....
