    Jimmy: Sounds like you had a great day. We have been doing well with the purple ones. Grape/Nickel & Blackberry. Heard on the News of the young jet skier. Sad to hear. :(

    A sad note , when we got back to the ramp their was a lot of sheriff cars, 2 sheriff boats , ambulance ,an fire trucks, along with several rangers , I just heard today a young lady was killed on a jet ski.
    when we pulled up the ambulance was getting ready to drive away , no lights or siren . just drove away, that sucks.

    got on the water round 6:45 hooked 3 to the boat in the first 30 min, then it shut down for us ???? hung out around little hat , trolling the channel, we managed to boat 6 and lost at least 5 . not going to complain any it was far better than the last 3 trips . thanks again ,

    what color of speedy shiner are u do well with , ours was an all orange one .

    fool4fish: You might have a chance in the very early hours, but they have been at least in the 20' to 30' in the morning. Even Deeper in the later mornings. 30' to 40' Hope this Helps. Good Luck!!! Robbie (Koke Machine)...

    KM83, would top-lining work at camanchee right now? i dont have down-riggers so i would be TL with some weight to get it down a little deeper. your opinion?

    Jumping Jimmy: No Dodger!!! I just run a 4' leader to the lure. I do add a small crane swivel to avoid line twist. I also had a small Dual Loc snap for easy quick lure changes.
    Set Backs: 50' to 100' I usually have at least 20' between the next one. So at 40' i'm back 50' then the next one at 35' is 70' and the next one at 30' is at 90' Hope this Helps.
