    Re: Feather River 2/17

I might go out this Sunday (2/25) on the Feather but this Saturday I'm gonna be chasing some Sturgeon in Richmond cuz of the great tides. I will be sure to report on both trips so lookout on the sturgeon board.
My biggest worry is that when I'm dead and gone, my wife will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it.

Kids broke the transducer off a little while ago and haven't replaced it yet, but according to my hands it was slightly below FREAKING COLD. I tend to not worry about water temps till later in spring, but I would say low 50's for sure. I think anywhere within the Feather system would be a good bet but current water levels probably won't allow a striper year like last.

Its pretty low, I don't recommend anyone with a prop making any plans unless you know the channel well enough. Boyds Pump jus south of Yuba City has a really good ramp and will fill up fast in the coming weeks. I guess this post doesn't help matters lol, I just appreciate reports from around here so I give my two cents for what its worth. On that note, I went out this morning and caught one legal about 21" but didn't throw this one back
