J, I think you misunderstood, Bigfin is wondering how much it costs for Lassen to truck them down south!

Well they aren't bought from Corona. Lassen raises them and Amador had a a bunch dropped off into their pens already

I saw trout like that in China but do not know whether they were the same strain. Pretty fish.

"Lighting" could strike at Lake Amador this Saturday

This Saturday, "Lighting" could strike many of those participating in the 4th event of the 2018 NorCal Trout Angler's Challenge season, as not only is the lake well known for yielding big Mt. Lassen rainbow trout, but also has in it a good measure of the unique strain of trout known as "Lighting Trout".

Some say that these mythical looking trout, absent of the traditional markings rainbows' bear, seems to fight twice as hard as their counterparts, and strike bait offerings even more aggressively!!

And for this event Daiwa, the official rod and reel of Angler's Press Outdoors, is offering a beautiful rod and reel combo for the largest "Lighting" trout caught during the event!

But even with this many trout up for grabs - both "Lighting" and rainbows, there will always be someone that won't be able to figure out how to catch a big one, or may not even possess the tools necessary to get the BIG ONE in - even if they hook it!

To give "unlucky" anglers a helping hand in their quest for bigger fish, for this vent, Daiwa will present the angler with the overall smallest fish, a PREMIUM rod and reel combo, along with a tackle pack from some of our top partnering sponsors that will include:

    A PREMIUM Daiwa rod/reel comb
A PREMIUM pack of Gamakatsu bait holder hooks
    A PREMIUM spool of P-Line
    A PREMIUM Rooster Tail lure

This package has a combined value of over $75 dollars...and if you can't get a big one with this combo...then you got issues! :)

Registrations start this Saturday at 5:30am and the Amador store... so it's still not too late for you to get in on all the fun!
    See you all there!
