No boils, fish are 20-30' and scattered.

    New Hogan

Not really a fishing report but have been catching and releasing few up to 6# or so on rolled anchovies. I have a major concern with the reduced opportunities on the other mother lode lakes hogan is going to receive more pressure. Case in point a local guide was bragging about catching 250+ I think last spring. I have been in touch with the lake biologist who feels the lake has not recovered from low water during the drought which is probably true. I feel 10 fish with no size limit is excessive. I did learn that bass fry make up a considerable portion of the stripers diet, guess I will have to take back any bad things I have said about ditch pickles.
