    Salmon Roe Curing Help

I have never cured roe before so any tips would be helpful as well.

I would try a salt and sugar cure along with your favorite commercial sturgeon scent

Salt and sugar cure works pretty good you got to be careful not to add too much or you’ll create total soup

I wouldn’t cure anything for sturgeon. You want to be as natural as possible.
It’s interesting that the roe in the skein did not work at all for me but the roe that is already all separate worked good. So I’m thinking isn’t that what salmon are letting out and sturgeon coming along and foraging?
