Yokes have been howling outside our bedroom window at night but there's nothing that they can kill/eat so I just roll over and go back to sleep.

GrandPa used to have goats and sheep . I don't know how many I got with a 22 short in the boiler room.Since the subsonic came out It works well on my place out to about 50 yds. Hold on the back bone and it will do the job.

Steve is an expert in that field, I believe he will stick with things that will not disturb the neighborhood…...Jetspray

Not any more. I had a Ruger 10/22 but got bored with it and sold it. I'll probably go out with the .223 in a while and see if I can figure out where they're bedding down during the day. I should be able to track them in the fresh snow. We don't need a hunting license or even an excuse to hunt them here in Nevada but I would need a trappers license if I wanted to keep the fur. I'll just take them out and leave them lay and become food for the other scavengers in the desert.

    Re: Yotes

We’ve got them hanging out down here in the “city”. Numerous sitings the last couple weeks of them just wondering down the streets and through some of the local parks. And a lot of Facebook posts of missing cats . I can hear the pups at night in the nearby green belt.

I haven’t seen any this year, but last year I walked out my front door around 2am and had one standing in the street just looking at me. I hit him between the eyes with my laser sight and he just slowly turned and walked up the street.
