Over here I have been checked by the Sherriff at Mitch Pond twice. I have also been checked by tribal officers on Pyramid numerous times. In California many many times and they were usually on foot. I still carry my lic's around my neck and visible. This years out-of-state Calif. Lic is orange and pretty visible......Jetspray

No, you're looking at fees prior to taxes and court fees

P.S. Apparently th fine can go up to a maximum of $500

One time while fishing at Lake Sonoma my cousin was cited for not having his license on him while fishing. He left his wallet back at camp and we were on the boat so he got a $200 fine which was waived when he showed up in court with his license.
