Thanks, another great. Fishing. Report. I know what I will be. Doing. This Saturday.

I have released some big stripes and watched, them on my, fishfinder as they head down to the bottom at an angle and just ease on to the bottom. They disappeared when the bottom is reached. Some times that is what it looks like on the bottom, just bumps, I don't take those marks for granted, if I see a series of those marks, I am going to get hit, I call those runways, because, I Mark the Gps each time I get a kepeer and after a while you can see a clear pattern on your GPS, that looks like a run way,

    Thanks again for the. Report.

    3/17 + 3/18 SJ Trolling

Spent an overnighter on the SJ. Launched out of Brannan Island on 3/17. Tried bait fishing for striper and sturgeon for a few hours. Little to no action.

Switched over to trolling deep diving Yo-Zuris on shoals between 12-15 ft of water in the evening and had immediate and constant action. Started the next morning trolling as well until 11am. Landed 37 fish between two people up to 24 inches, most were in the 16-17 inch range with a number of keepers in the bunch. They are out there and are hungry.

Top color was anything with chartruse, orange, and flouresent green with white or chartruse trailer. Trolling speed 3.0mph without current factored in.

Good luck, and go get em!
