    Re: Camanche 3-24-19

Hi Kristy and Mike -- we were out on Sunday as well -- you even got a photo of my truck!!! We stayed in the main lake area and it was pretty slow. We caught 2 trout of 18 and 19 1/2 inches -- biggest was 3 1/2 pounds on the scale. Tasmanian Devils and Speedy Shiners on the surface and down 10 feet -- also got a fat crappie on the Taz! A slow bite, but a beautiful day on the water. See you out there -- Paul

Thank you M&K for sharing your day with us all. I really look forward to your post as so many of us do. Nice pictures and a wonderful video also. It's not like it use to be back a few years ago so much have changed with a few moving and some think that Facebook is a forum for fishing now. lol Those are some bragging fish you guy's caught and thanks for the pictures and the arsenal shots of what you used. I usually fish by myself during the week and let'em go, but don't get me wrong those Lassen Trout are Delicious and I will save them to bring home if their in bad shape. I also catch one or two most of the time I go out. Hard to get a limit these days with me

BTW thanks for the YouTube video and the heads up on the gear. Can't go wrong with GVF lures and speedy shiners in any case....Jetspray

Sorry but I have a ton of skunks just about everywhere, Richard posts no matter if we catch anything or not because he knows us geezer's are always looming around looking at posts just to wish we were out. I spent a bunch of time last year and this year being house bound due to 4 eye surgeries, it is always great just to see and be able to see others having a good time trying to land something. You two always fit the bill for that....Jetspray

    Camanche 3-24-19
On the water at 7:30. Fast trolled the main lake for a couple of hours without a bite. Boogied over to the narrows and Mike lands a nice 6.5 lb rainbow on a speedy shiner right at the surface. (video)
I was up next and bagged myself a 7.2lb trout on a Gvf Lures pinkanator trolled slow. 4 feet down. Both fish were caught in the back of the narrows.
Going to have a nice fish lunch tomorrow!!! Have a great week everyone!
