We'll get into town this Wednesday for the derby. Looks like we are going to get some rain this year come derby weekend.

I saw the new lake record from a few days ago. Nice fish. Supposedly caught over in Soda Bay. Heard he released the fish, so it's still out there. Tight lines...

Surface temps were 61 when we launched, and 64 when we left.

Drifted 13 to 18 feet deep. Landed 2 cats. One in the low teens and another about 8 lbs. Lost a $9 rig that snagged up on one of our drifts. Beautiful day on the water.

Daughter is happy and that's all that matters to me.

My down imaging worked fine for about half the day, then started getting interference later. After the down image failure, the screen would show perfect when I switched to down imaging, but as soon as it would start scrolling, a bunch of interference would start. Tried to trouble shoot on the water, but couldn't solve the problem. Sonar and side imaging work perfectly thank goodness. The screenshot is about 30 seconds after I switched to down imaging.

Tons of carp mid depth on side imaging today. Groups of 3 to 7 fish everywhere. Talked to a carp shooter (bow) who had a field day.

These are average channels around here, in Nevada. Went down to the Walker yesterday for some dinner and this is it. Worms and a couple of split shot. No $9 rigs around here.

Very nice! Beats my personal best channel cat by quite a bit!

Around here, (Indiana), blue cats and flatheads are the big boys!
