    Re: Pyramid hopeful

Brad Stout wrote an article on retiring lures that have caught memorable fish and hanging them on the wall. I figure ones you made yourself or that have a story could be handled the same. Always thought that was a cool idea. Hooks’ creations would qualify in my book.

I would bite them if they are barbless, hopefully Don would not set the hook......Jetspray

    Re: Pyramid hopeful

I have some lures that I fear using and loosing.

Rapala mag 13 floater and Rapala

Husky 13 floater(not to be confused with the Rapala Husky Jerks)

Notice the yellow tinge on the mag 13

    Vintage

    Rapala mag 11 floater

    Rapala mag 18 floater(yellow again)

    Vintage

Any vintage Rapala jointed count down that I have

    Try to find these

    Re: Pyramid hopeful

    Thanks

Nope. If it doesn’t catch fish I’ll clean the blank off and come up with a different pattern like......

    This one does catch.

I don't know if a fish will bite it or not, but I wish I had one in my tackle box.

It adds to the accomplishment getting bit on something you've built or customized. Unless it doesn't catch anything, then you throw it in the lake and tell the story about how big the fish was that broke it off.

    Nice work
