Oh yeah, she's been going with me fishing, to giants and warrior games, 4 wheeling into the mountains for hiking and camping and traveling all over the place since we first met. She's also a chemist who works on developing treatments for rare childhood diseases, she's definitely the best keeper I ever put in the boat. When we're using cut bait for some reason she often out fishes me, probably because she holds on to her fishing rod at all times. Unfortunately no sisters!

Thanks Seon, when I went to net it the leader broke and she thought we lost it. She immediately turned her back in frustration and when it told her I got it, she was jumping up and down.

    SF Bay halibut hunt

For my birthday, my wife and I went out in the morning for a few hours to hunt down a halibut. Launched out of Berkeley Marina at 0700, hit the usual rough water (for my little boat anyway) and headed west into about 8-10' of water. Wind calmed down around 0800. I had two pull downs, one of which didn't stick and the other came off. My wife hooked into two nice ones, one we got into the boat and one broke off right at the side of the boat. Off the water by 1030 when the wind started to pick up again. We were using frozen tray anchovies, and frozen tray herring. All of the bites came on anchovies.
