    we used to anchor up in 2-3 feet of water in the headwaters of the Delaware river in an old rickety jon boat. Just jigging small spinners and spoons behind the boat in the current and the action was awesome

    Totally different regs regarding transporting threadfin shad you catch and American Shad you catch. And heck yeah, American Shad make amazing crab bait

    As long as the fish is dead you can use it for crab bait.
