    Re: Spooling with lead core?

For what it's worth, I used the calculator at https://www.pattayafishing.net/advan...ity-estimator/ , entered the diameters and lengths listed for each product, and it all wound up just right--first try. Counter is showing 100 plus or minus 4 at 100 feet. Would recommend this tool to anyone having a similar backing/mainline question.

    Spooling with lead core?

Cal and I use a hybrid lead core setup all the time. It can get down to 30 with just 3 colors. Check this out:

PS: I have a pile of rods and reels going out in the next couple days. You should see yours early next week.

    Spooling with lead core?

    Hello,
I'm eagerly awaiting my subscriber special Diawa 17 LCB line counter reel. My plan is to spool 12 lb Sufix 832 lead core line. Online calculators suggest this reel might not accept 10 colors at 0.022 in. Has anyone had experience they might like to share, how much backing did you use to get how many colors on?

    Thanks,
    Jeff
