Re: Carp fishing in South Bay?

Saw some guys walking out of Coyote Creek in Morgan Hill with a bag of big carp. Thinking about trying it since bass fishing here is so torturous.

    Carp fishing in South Bay?

    Hi folks,

I'm looking for any kind of advice on carp fishing in South Bay, preferably Coyote Lake. Where should I fish, which bait should I use? What about method leads and pack bait -- do rangers allow it?
I've tried so far southern end of Coyote Lake, was using hair rig, baited with artificial corn, real corn, and boilies (hand-made from corn+panko+jello) and some commercial ones. Was fishing in the evening.

So far getting 0 luck, would appreciate any hints on your tackle / places / tactics.
