    posting pics

It's been a long time since I posted a picture. Do you still have to use one of the picture hosts? Or what ever they're called. Image Shack or something. Is there a tutorial here somewhere? I'm back on the water finally so hopefully I'll have something to post about real soon...lol

    Re: posting pics

This is is the best method, but pics have to be less than 2MB.

Hi Quality Pics are not rejected. You can post very large pics to the forums. Pics taken with a Camera/ Phone are usually 300+ DPI (dots per inch). Web images are typically 72 DPI. 99% of web users are looking at a device that only supports 72 DPI or less. We limit the file size to 2MB to save space, which makes the forums faster. If everyone uploaded 300+ DPI images, it would take forever to load the forums. 72 DPI pics can be opened very quickly.

    A 2MB 72DPI image is roughly a 16"x12" image. That's huge for web viewing.
