Re: Thoughts on Flasher in front of Silvertron?

I just started experimenting this year with using the cone style flashers in front of several different offerings, including spinners. I havenít had any luck in my two trips out with the spinner flasher combo, but not giving up on it either. Itís used up north on the Columbia, so why not work here?

They troll the cone type flashers right at the spreader in front of spinners.

I haven't tried it myself, but I have heard spinners pull to hard and keep the flashers from rotating.

Thoughts on Flasher in front of Silvertron?

Iím new to trolling for Salmon. Done it with guides on the Columbia and Klamath.
We brought A couple home from Rio Vista this weekend, 9/21/19.
All on Silvertrons. No hits on cut plugs with Protroll flashers.
    My rookie question.
Does anybody put some type of flasher in front of spinners? If so, what type? I have pro trolls, Big Alís.
Maybe smaller flashers similar to the flashers used for trout/Kokanee?
Any reason not to? Would/does it work?
