Re: Do CDFW need a warrent to come in your home?
To be more specific. If you ask them to leave, and they are not actively invesitgating with iminate probably cause, they would need a warrant stay on the property. If there is probable cause, that there is iminate danger or potental for loss of life, they do not need a warrant.
If you run from the police, they don't need a warrant to chase you, and state lines don't matter....Captain of the Little Liberator.

It is pretty common to have a Warden and or Forestry Law enforcement tag along when serving warrants. They use different probable cause for search and seizure then your normal Law Enforcement Officer. Example. A local municiple officer will not pull you over for leaving the local fishing peir with fishing poles visible in the bed of your truck. There is no probable cause for him to pull you over, you were merely excersicing YOUR RIGHT to fish, as stated in the California Consitution. However, a Warden does have probably cause to stop you. His probable cause is that you have been fishing, and its his job to verify what, if any natural resources have been harvested and to ensure that they within legal guidelines.
Its also easier for wardens to permanently seize assets for what the state feels are environmental atrocities (which is very difficult to fight such accusations in court), then a municipal Officer who is trying to build a case for drugs and gang activity (Homies get off the hook all the time by accepting a generous plea deal and an apology).
Just a though, isn't illegal to license and require monetary compensation to exercise a Constitutionally given right?Captain of the Little Liberator.

So where is the Sierra Club, or any of the other organizations that want the forests not to be managed, and were is PETA on the taking of wildlife massively. They do nothing but complain, and take away land and rights. Tax payers pay taxes, government directs those funds to what they think they need, like protecting the American Citizen Tax Payers, with force if needed......Jetspray

Jetspray, the way new-scum is going, they won't be breaking any laws much longer. And besides, they only get a slap on the wrist, if that, because, well, they just need some help and guidance, we can rehabilitate them (at the tax payer's expense) and after all, the kool-aid is free and so are the needles, plus a safe place to shoot up. Oh, and don't forget, if the urge to purge hits you, drop your drawers and crap on the street, it's ok.

Poachers are criminals, I am not one of those. Seems these days there are so many of them in California breaking the laws it is crazy. Their duties are appreciated by me, and I always talk to one if they show up...….Jetspray

It would depend on the circumstances. What are the specific circumstances?

Don't know anything about the warrant, but most of the time they are on drug busts is due to chemicals and other hazardous materials endangering water sources, streams, etc.
