    They like water temps from 50 to 58 degrees or so I have read.

    Nothing is absolute though....LOL

    Thanks for the great pictures and info.

    Nice to know that the fish can be had from top to bottom, now.

    I'm lazy and don't usually Jig but it can work if you find that "X" on the water !!

    So is 58 degrees a good thing ?
    I log temps but never tried to put them together.........

    I pay more attention to dates and times.

    The surface temp was 58 degrees. Some parts of the lake have turned over but there's always clean water to be found you just got to put some miles on the boat searching. Or launch at the right beach.

    Pyramid 10/26

    My buddy and I took are daughters fishing at Pyramid yesterday. We tried jigs for the first hour or so for 2 fish and 3-4 missed strikes. So we decided to troll to another spot to jig. As soon as we sit down the 2 rods on the downriggers start going off and we proceeded to land them both. After that we steadily picked up fish all day long, all were on the small side 3-5 pounds but fun non the less exspecialy for our daughters.
