    Most striper reports from Tomales come on live bait or artificial lures cast or trolled. Seems bait caught fish are more of bycatch of guys fishing for halibut. That said, anything is possible.

    Thanks for the tip. We had initially thought of targeting halibut and now it seems like we will.

    Probably better chance of catching halibut in TB.

    Tomales Bay Stripers

    Heading up to Tomales Bay for the first time next week for a few days and going to catch a few stripers. I really don't know the best way to target them. Drift or troll? And will there actually be stripers in the bay. How about tides? Any help would be appreciated.
