I commented to my buddy about the lack of rolling sturgeon. We didn't see any.

Forgot to mention in my original post - the water temperature was 53 degrees.

Nice picture. You had a successful day, even if it wasn't filled with huge fish.

We must have driven past you on Sunday, heading downriver sturgeon fishing. Did you see any sturgeon rolling in the area?

Glad you got out to enjoy the day.

    Chain Island 12/8/2019

I made a trip to the west delta on Sunday. We anchored in 24 feet of water on the incoming tide for three small keepers to 22 inches and five undersized fish released. We were soaking chicken livers. The weeds were bad at first but cleared as the incoming tide picked up. Very similar results to my other two trips to the area this year. There just don't seem to be as many quality fish in the system this year compared to usual.
