Electra out of jackson, I love that river. The road sucks if you go up from the highway. I tend to park in the new parking area past the bridge and walk down. Be warned there are a lot of druggie people there that sleep in the forest at night. All of them I've come across are very friendly but just an fyi if you come across people sleeping during the day.

You should note that the Stanislaus is closed until January 1, below Goodwin Dam and until last Saturday in April east of highway 49.

Putah Creek (after the rainbow spawn)
Stanislaus, Yuba, Sac, West Walker, East Walker, Truckee, and the Owens are just a few.

    Stream fishing Norcal

Anyone have some spots for stream fishing for trout right now? I know the East Carson is one spot, but looking for a few other places if possible to get some practice in, especially with nymphing and top water dry flies.

I tried the East Carson last week, but no luck so looking for a few other spots. I’ve got Friday off, so I’m looking to hopefully get up somewhere then.

    Thank you!
