Re: Thougt on Hi vis main line

Yeah , once Salmon season approaches I switch all the reels I use for salmon to Hi Viz line ... I can tell ya it's nice being able to see your line ... I run a florocarbon leader so fish never see the stuff .... I've tried quite a few brands , the Suffix is pretty good line and it's hi viz is easy to see , Big Game is great as far as visibility but has lots of memory still one strong line , Maxima is Awesome but expensive so I don't use it much ..... One you definitely don't want to buy is KastKing Mono , how it got an icast award is beyond me , I tried this garbage in the Sunrise yellow because it looks like it's really visible but once on a reel and in the sun ...it looses its color fast ....worse off it breaks easy ....17 and 25 both junk ....cheap for a reason ....don't waste your money .... I
Still don't see many guys using hi viz , and I'm not telling any to do it ... That's all you need is every guy in the line with the same color line .....

Yep, the main line is hi viz. You can add a leader and weight of your choice.
